Andre Lerman

As Owner and Chief Growth Officer at Hazel Avenue Associates, Andre is a speaker, trainer, coach and consultant to accounting and law firms of all sizes in the United States and globally.  Andre’s strengths are in marketing, growth leadership, communications, and business development.  Over the past eighteen years he had a senior growth role with a top five accounting firm which experienced consistent growth rates well in excess of peers.  

Previously, he was Chief Marketing Officer/Principal for a top twenty accounting firm where also served as a law firm consultant, helping AmLaw 200 firms with achieving strategic and intentional growth.  In addition, Andre was Chief Marketing Officer for a large bank holding company where he served on the bank’s board of directors.  He was also a Vice President at First Chicago Bank, and was at Arthur Andersen & Co.’s world headquarters in Chicago where he was one of the first three people to start up that firm’s marketing function.  

His approach as a growth leader focuses around building strong growth cultures for firms of all sizes through offering curriculums that addresses the unique needs of firms, practice areas and individuals through energetic and impactful training that generates energy around growth.  

Andre has his BA and MBA from The University of Texas at Austin.  Andre and his wife Janet have two children (one in Tucson and one in San Francisco) and five grandchildren.  He is active in volunteering in his local community in the Chicago area, having served as an elected official for his local park district Board.   He enjoys sailing on Lake Michigan, hiking in Arizona, skiing in Tahoe and snorkeling in the Caribbean.  He is also a fan of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, college basketball the Chicago Cubs.
